Volunteer with Go West
The Go West Film Festival runs on volunteers. Each November - and throughout the year - community members usher screenings, staff the information booth, help with filmmaker Q&As, and run the merch table. Fill out the form below and we’ll find a job for your talents.
Why Volunteer?
Go West is a free, nonprofit festival, and volunteers are the reason it stays that way. You’ll meet filmmakers, programmers, and fellow western film lovers - and help downtown Greeley come alive for a week of cinema every November. Volunteers receive training before the festival, festival swag, and complimentary access to select screenings as a thank-you.
Volunteer Roles
Ushers welcome audiences and keep screenings at the Kress Cinema & Lounge and the LINC Library Innovation Center running smoothly. Information booth volunteers help attendees with schedules and directions. Q&A helpers support filmmaker discussions. Merch table volunteers help with festival merchandise, including the annual collectible poster featuring the art of Cody Kuehl. Between festivals, volunteers help with outreach events, library screenings, and planning.
Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone who loves movies, the West, or Greeley. No experience required - we’ll train you. Shifts are flexible, and even a few hours during festival week, November 9-14, 2026, makes a real difference. Sign up below and we’ll be in touch.
